ISBE Student Information Systems Training

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) will be conducting summer training sessions for users who are new or who would like a refresher course. School Districts and Early Childhood entities are limited to two (2) participants.

Each training session is designed to demonstrate the current and new system features of the online and batch functionalities including the creation of Comma Separated Value (CSV) files.

Emphasis on the Early Childhood data collections will take place during the afternoon sessions, so the new Early Childhood entities are encouraged to attend those sessions.

Online registration begins today and will end on July 30, 2008. Participants may attend either a 9 AM to12 PM morning training session or a 1 PM to 4 PM afternoon training session at one of six locations on the following dates:

   
  • August 5th and 6th - Lombard   
  • August 7th and 8th - Rockford   
  • August 12th and 13th - Decatur   
  • August 14th and 15th - Springfield   
  • August 19th and 20th - Carterville   
  • August 21st and 22nd - Belleville


    The online registration form and the logistical information for each session, including directions, are available through the links below. The necessary training materials will be distributed to participants at the beginning of each session.
